It sounds like you guys are describing hubs with outboard brakes? Our trailers are not that new, inboards have studs with threads on both ends with a shoulder in the middle which seats in a groove on the hub.
Can you replace a stud without removing the drum or hub on outboard brakes?
removal of bud wheel studs?
