Subject: Anybody else seeing quality problems with sisal twine?

We aren't even done baling second crop hay yet and we've already seen more quality problems with sisal twine than we've ever had in the past and I was wondering if anybody else is having the same problem. We've been using Holland brand twine for at least 10 years and have had good luck with it in the past but this year it seems to be lower quality than in the past. We've had one bale that was knotted up inside and another that wasn't nearly as thick as it should have been (we're using 9000ft bales). We tried another brand and it was better but it still didn't seem like it was as good as what we've had in the past. We'd really like to stick with sisal instead of switching to plastic but it seems like every few loads we're having to stop because of twine problems that have nothing to do with the baler. Has anybody else noticed twine being lower quality in the past or have we just got a bad batch?
