How do you remove the bolt studs from a bud wheel hub? Are they threaded into the hub? If they are, are they left handed threads on the left side like the inner and outer nuts?

Took off both tires and the stud is broken off, part of it is in the inner nut, but that is easy to replace. I have never seen one of the studs removed before.
