Got a call at 4:30 am that the commodity shed was on fire. Got out there and my son had the wheel loader hauling burning hay and dumping it into the manure pit. Logan had ground hay and straw in the morning and that was what was burning. Called the fire department and it took 8000 gallons of water to put it out and we had hauled most of the burning stuff out. Had one wooden post burn off and the rest of the building was cement and steel. The conduits coming into the electrical box burnt and all the bean meal corn and other commodities were ok just the hay and straw were lost. The fire was my wifes fault. Had an old shed she wanted out of here yard so I got it out and dumped it on the burn pile that was a hundred yards east of the commodity shed and burned it at noon but we had a east wind and a spark must of floated over there and caught the ground hay on fire. It was an exciting morning.
