There is a correlation between grass height and worms ingested, as they travel up the grass. IIRC, it's best to keep the grass at 4 inches or longer. I also used to know the worm life cycles, seems like you wanted to rotate pastures every 3 weeks or so, but I could be remembering that wrong. Also, look into the "FAMACHA score". If they are white as snow under the lower eyelid, they're pretty bad.
