We will walk through them on foot to check every day when they are in the feedlot. Thanks for the help. As mentioned above, after they are in the pasture I would bring some range cubes out with you especially the first few times to get them coming to you rather than running the other way. The experience in the feedlot is helpful but they need more reinforcement when they have a big area open. They need a reason to come to you. Walk slowly by them as they eat the cubes. |
