Well, you can go cold turkey on deworming your mature ewes. Only treat the animals that really need it to survive and then sell them. I run Polypay ewes, (base herd and rams from frekingpolypay guy) and went cold turkey on deworming my ewes. I had to treat a group of them and I lost a few ewes to parasites. It has been a journey but I guarantee I have a tougher strain of ewes now than I did before...This was probably 3-4 years ago I quit whole flock treatment....
