Read all I can from university literature that applies to my area (SW Iowa), and I want to hear how you, "on average rainfall" go about how many spring pairs you graze per acre. We have some wide open hill sides to parts where there's a tree and creek every turn you make, so I know this is a variable topic.
I’ll be odd man out that continues banging my head into the same brick wall…..
The average is such a wide divide because most of us don’t manage pastures for “best they can be”.
Soil testing, grazing /forage species management, water management, fertility, shade, etc.
