North Dakota | I've taken Prilosec or it's generic form for close to 30 years. When I was in high school I would eat a roll of Rolaids a day, my dad did too. My brother takes Prilosec also, has for 10 years or so.
The first drug they gave me was called Propulsid, was supposed to stop acid reflux. I would take it right before a meal, never made it through to desert. One of the side effects was needing to make a very fast dash to the bathroom. Lets just say I didn't take that more than once or twice. Next was Prevacid and that worked until insurance wouldn't cover it.
I had a bit of intestinal trouble a couple of weeks ago and the DR. put me on Protinix, generic pentaprazalol (sp), haven't had an episode of reflux since. | |
