ECWI | Asking this for my 25 year old son who asked me for an opinion. He has had sore throat issues on and off for years, and has taken Prilosec occasionally.
Went to see a PA today who would like him to take a stronger prescription strength of this for a few weeks.
He has given up alcohol, red tomatoe based sauces, and tries to avoid anything spicy. Sleeps on his back with 2 pillows to elevate head.
I know nothing of acid reflux or heartburn, just what I read on the interweb.
Would anyone have any words of wisdom or real life experience with this?
I have drilled into my kids to avoid any medicine at all costs, and have maybe gone to the extreme as he is reluctant to try this.
Any natural remedies?
