Hyvee had a line getting 4 ounce pork loin for 99 cents,,,the same people don't want to pay 2.50-3..00 a pound for whole loins. Marketing????
Ok. So 4 of them = $3.96, vs $3.00/lb for a whole one.
Now that it's usually just my wife and I, often just me, for supper, if I was buying pork I'd pay somebody 96 cents not to have to mess up the counter, cutting board, knives, etc. I've got better things to do. But some clown thinks he should butcher his own occasionally, so I end up with large cuts.
