We had cat food from Walmart that the cats wouldn't eat.  Because it's in sealed cans we took it back.  Walmart had no problem with the return, but they marked each can with a black mark and when my wife asked why, they said they would through all of them out.

Sealed tin cans, could have been given to animal shelter or sold to somebody else.  I was told by a Sam's Club employee that after so many hours the rotisserie chickens are thrown out too.
