Pittsburg, Kansas
Dr Seheult is a really smart guy. Some day he will no longer be able to ignore the research that eating meat is healthy.

What he is saying is kind of a straw man argument. The doctors I listen to all say if you are going to eat fruit, eat fruit don't drink it. The dose makes the poision. Nature packs vitamin C in oranges to offset the metabolic damage done by the oxidative stress from the fructose. He says not to drink fruit juice, which is smart.

People say meat has no vitamin C. First it does have vitamin C but not very much. One reason it has little is that it does not need it because it does not cause the oxidative stress the orange would.

Sehuelt is a tremendously smart guy. Some day he is going to wake up on the meat eating front.

I don't drink fruit juice. I do eat a few berries which are the lowest in sugar content. They taste good. I don't eat them for my health. I eat them as a treat. But my needs as a diabetic (or former diabetic, I now test 5.8 on A1c) is greater reduction of the foods that cause me problems than most metabolically healthy people would be.

"Associated, associated, associated".

If you are eating a crappy diet, fiber is helpful. It slows down the crappy stuff going on. If not, fiber is not an essential food. He is following research that satisfies his own bias. Like I do. Except more should be required of him. I'm just a dumb uneducated dirt farmer. I am not expected to know about this stuff.

What he says is good. Some day he will get all the way if his religious beliefs doesn't stop him. My opinion only. People can make great strides in their health by listening to him if their current diet is crap. They can just do better, in my opinion.
