Pittsburg, Kansas | Makes a difference when a person personally experiences in his own health where mainstream medical and nutritional conventional wisdom failed for many years, and then found relief and reversal of medical problems through unconventional medical and nutritional resolutions. Resolutions of medical problems that were said to be irreversable according to conventional medical wisdom. All of the sudden other mainstream medical dogma becomes questioned.
The other thread on pain pills above. I think I have taken a total of maybe 4 combination of ibuprofen, alieve and tylenol pills in the last 6 years since diet change. Before for arthritis I took up to 12 pills a day for pain (plus knee injection). Yet who is going to believe that???? I would not have. Yet here I am, in better health six years later than previously with no need for pain pills any more. Yet who is going to believe that happened, just because I changed what I was eating???? Sounds rediculous.
Can't blame people for not believing me. I would not have believed me had I not experienced it first hand for myself. At one point I listed all the health improvements by getting rid of the sugar and most carbohydrates. I have posted it a few times. I myself find it unbelievable, yet it is what it is. Had I only learned what I know now 40 or so years ago, how would things now be even better now than they are?????? Who knows. Most people will never find out. Glad I did when I did.
Wife and I went low carb and cut out the sugar to lose weight. What happened was I got healthy. Then the weight came off naturally. At least that is my take on what happened to me. In my non-medical trained non-nutritional trained opinion only. Just a dumb, uneducated, retired dirt farmer. I am definitely a slow learner, based on it taking me 35 or more years to learn this.
