Very few things are better than fried chicken livers. I can eat them by the dozen. But years ago beef liver and onions was one of the dishes on the menu at some truck stop restaurants. I ordered it occasionally and enjoyed it. My wife, on the other hand, tells me that before we met she was on some diet that required eating liver occasionally. She said she would choke it down as required but never developed a taste for it. I believe that the way it was prepared was the problem. Properly prepared, beef liver is very tasty.
