New Castle, PA | I am sure the pioneers consumed there share of carbohydrates . But then again they chopped down trees and split firewood with an axe , put in field drains with a pick and shovel ,picked rocks and made there own gravel with a sledge hammer,walked everywhere , made hay with a pitch fork, hoed there corn in the summer and then shucked it all by hand in the fall , spent hours hanging onto a walking plow while starring at a horses butt , etc ,etc . Probably made a difference | |
