I'm not carnivore. Pretty close and some days only meat but no particular reason or patterns.

Last night Carolynn and I went out to eat after her being stuck in Miami airport two days getting back. We ate at Captain Don's Habitat restaurant called Rum Runners. Buffet kind of BBQ. I had beef steak, chicken thigh, pork ribs, fresh tuna, pork kabobs....and about 2 tablespoons of cole slaw and same amount of fresh onion and green pepper salad. Plus probably 3 tablespoons of fresh fruit cocktail salad. Second plate on most of the meats. I bet I ate over a pound of meat. Two tiny piles of veggies and small amounts of fruit.

Blood sugar 2 hours later 135. I am on zero diabetes medication. Been diabetic for about 35 years. Insulin dependent probably 20 or more till diet change 6 years ago.

So I do eat plant food. Onions, olives, avocado, dill pickles are common on our table when Carolynn cooks.

Just very meat heavy diet. Not carnivore. I see nothing wrong with completely carnivore and I think it might help someone with specific health issues. A good elimination diet in my non medical non nutritionist opinion.

Wife and I still enjoy a little variety on our taste buds and plate.
