Scheduled for cataract surgery Monday, been on Flowmax for a month after brachytherapy on my prostate. Cancer doctor seems concerned about bad things happening after I told him yesterday I was having cataract surgery. Eye surgeon didn't say anything during consult last week, he is aware I'm taking Flowmax. His office was closed when I tried to call yesterday. Online reading seems a bit mixed on how bad the risk of complications might be.
So anybody have any experience with this?
I had cataract surgery a few years ago while I was on Tamsulosin which I think is the same thing as Flowmax.
I'd been on it for years and had no ill side effects. |
