Did anyone ever say that you could not challenge science? Maybe a politician did, but not a scientist.



Try it in most any setting. You will get pounced on like a field mouse vs barn cat.

At least in most of my family gatherings and church functions. I make a point to avoid the subject. But it never fails that somebody will notice the contents of my plate and loudly question why there are no grains or greens on it.

That always gets the attention of a few more people (that tend to be overweight and on multiple drugs) that try to lecture me on "proper nutrition". No amount of biological explanation will change their mind so most of the time I have to get rather short and nasty with them to make the leave me alone.

Have a fire department dinner this afternoon that I am currently dreading...
