IL, South of 70 | Send em!!! Load I sent to Green Bay a few Sundays ago weighed 1535 and they were paying $1.75. I’m guessing they’re eating about 26-28lb a day and only gaining 2 2 1/4 a day. That would be costing me approximately $2.35 a day in feed. 2.35x30=$70.50. 2lb/day x 30= 60lbs. 60lbx1.75 = $105. Extra $35 a head sounds all hunky dory till one goes down or just up and dies. I am by no means a pessimist. Just a young guy with payments that likes to mitigate risk | |
