| Kodiak... made just north of me about 20 miles and I am yet to see a better design for the price. They have their own frome that the bale holder pivots on. This means that it doesn't Pivot on your truck ball. You also don't have to have an elevated ball. They are a lot easier to dump. If the trailer is level or angled to the dump side, you can unlock the bale holder and use one finger to dump it. If it is angled the wrong direction, you can use one hand to dump. Same with pulling it back down. This means no long 5 foot pipe to hit you while dumping because it was so hard to push up that you forgot about watching out for the pipe. AND no jumping up in the air to grab the pipe to pull the bale holder back down.
This is just my opinion... but I have been around both and would never buy one like the ez- haul design if it is anything like the ez- haul that I have been around. No offense to them or anyone who owns one... just my experience.
Last I checked, they were around $8,500 a piece. Plus you are supporting a small Christian based family operation | |
