Vita Plus Sirloin Builder, Grower and Finisher.

They were recommended by posters on this forum.

I was feeding Purina Accuration, but struggled with severe fine accumulation in the Smidley Stuffers. I had to be on top of the feeder while unloading the mixer leveling to distribute the fines because the pellets would crumble during loading. Then there would be pellet "mush" in the troughs. The rep told me to throw the refusals in the top of the feeder; I didn't like that idea so I would daily remove the fines from the troughs and feed them along the fence line. The critters always cleaned it up so I had no loss, but it was a frustrating waste of time.

The Vita Plus pellets are as solid in the trough as they are going into the mixer with WSC and a little oats.

I no longer clean troughs unless rain or snow blows into them, and no longer level feeders, just fill from the tractor seat.

Delivery is right to my yard weekly and the guys at the plant and in the truck are very accommodating.

In fairness to the Purina product, the problem may just have been the plant it was pelleted in for my source.
