| Hay it until you can buy cows to stock it for the right price.
If you have extra cows just fence off what they need for them or buy cows for cash on hand. I’d personally not even think about buying cows today, but I shore hope that’s a dumb opinion in hindsight 2 years from now.
With today’s soft hay market leasing it to someone on the head/day may be better than hay. I know zero about fescue so not sure if gain calves would be an option. | |
