coast of Maine | Have a KNight Slinger, thats been super.I cant tell you how many millions of lbs chucked out. When being even was any concern we would pass one way then come back up with a pass throwing from the opposite side in towards the last pass.Itis almost flawless in ability to spread what ever,Be sure the kicker pegs are not bent(these are where the auger flights stop)the only poor patterns were once tried to spread many cubic yards of corn husks,PIA.Spread cabbage leaves from trimming for decades, spread wood chips onto raspberry rows, spread stepladder once, numerous fan parts from buildings we scrapped out of others whom used pits as trash cans, spread one day may tons of actual maggots when we had a bad fly issue in one caged layer.I would still be using it but animal ag no longer exists here.I remember I bought a farm that had a caged layer, was not cleaned out in 15 years, deep deep poop.I think i ran a dozen 1/2 hp electric motors out thru the hammers as the bone head whom owned farm before was lazy.Your hammers will wear with rocks and detritus,,so keep them changed or you will get drips in a line. | |
