| I agree on the farming it. Of course I do not live in southern Iowa either. I know some areas are farmable and some areas one is lucky to grow grass.
Farm it at a loss until it can be put in crp, then sell hunting rights. Plant a few trees once it is in CRP. The government will pay last I checked.
I am wrong, the most profitable thing to do would be to cash rent it at auction. There will be some one who thinks he can no- till into what is there and grow 250 bushel corn and sell it for $8
