Ive been getting rejected bird seed, wondering if it has value fed whole to cattle.
Contains whole corn, popcorn, peas, flax, sunflowers, safflower, millet sorghum lentils peanuts and probably other stuff i am missing.
Will the cattle get any value out of the whole seeds? Not a huge volume, just got about 12 tonnes. not worth the hassle to grind im thinking
Also geting sunflowers and millet screenings are they worth anything?
I would think that this is a great time to do some feed testing.
At most I would roll the rejected bird seed and if you can get it the sunflower seeds - - - if they're not shelled - - - - dunno if I would bother.
Never worked with millet so I'm waiting for someone with know how to chime in.
