mercer county, il | There’s special rods for building it out without sticking to your parent metal, xtractalloy, cronotron 333 or stud puller, stud xtract etc.
Most any electrode will work if you keep it in line with the bolt and don’t direct it at the threads. I usually just use 7018, or if it’s really tough, 309 stainless rod, or MG 600. Just keep the flux flowing towards the threads, and it’ll work fine. | |
