Wisconsin | Yes, but I'd use a piece of copper pipe, it can stick out. Build up till it's flush or higher, then grind the copper off and weld the nut onto it. You can slit the side of the copper at an angle and adjust the diameter to fit snug on it's own. If that fails, or you want to be sure it works, start with drilling a hole through the center of the bolt, then heat it up till it sparkles with a cutting torch, or weld the hold back up that you just drilled. It's the heat that does the work. | |
