| Just wondering everyones thoughts and inputs.
Got a 1978 international transtar 2 4070b with a 3208 cat and a Allison transmission backing it.
Was hauling grain in and the transmission stopped on me in a round about, thankfully I had reverse and backed out and had a wrecker haul it to a guys shop for the time being.
The model number of the transmission is a MT653 80D07,
The cost of a new transmission to be replaced is about the value of the truck at this point in time and just wondering if anyone had one out of a salvaged truck or anything.
Not looking to be married to the truck and can install myself, just trying to see my options at this point and wondering if anyone had a transmission they would be willing to part with.
My number is four zero two five six two nine nine five two.
