Subject: Keeping an orphan calf healthy

The Green Hills of Missouri
Countless times over the years I had orphan calves bottle fed them only to have them get sick and die. I often wonder how the dairy people can be so successful.

The calf I gained this weekend was a twin abandon by the cow. We were gone and my neighbor that was in charge isn't sure if it got its colostrum, so what are suggestions to keep this calf around long enough to make it to the sale barn.
