An ATV seems pointless to me as an ATV is a little short to be a good bluff for a cow that you need the cage for. A track loader sounds a bit slow and like it would make a mess pivoting. A cage on a Ranger or similar looks like it would work the best to me, as then you are protected from all directions, until they go all the way over the top, anyways.
