We do that but no machine.................Feed in bunks in the bottom of a bank barn, Grind our hay/corn stalks into the barn mow, mostly because its hard to feed them in a bank barn and I don't like rings because of waste and mess, grinding them blends the two, and we can feed down through doors with a fork ............Ground feed is in a bin with any additives, as soon as the hay/stalk blend is pitched down into the bunk, corn goes on over top in buckets which were filled before feeding started, with the cows working at it, it sifts down through and mixes in, they eat everything. All manual labor, I don't think I would start anything for small numbers IMHO........
