Hear! Hear! Piles always have more waste than you plan on when you’re making them. Unless you split a bag or have some sort of terrible varmint attack, the difference in waste would probably pay for the bag vs a cover at my place even with corn silage, not to say what earlage costs.

The varmints love piles as much or more than bags!

If you’re piling, do you have tires or want to have them around from now on?
