| I have very little creek issues so maybe not one to comment, but I would go 1 high tensile wire with very good corners and a very hot fencer. Before you put cows in run around it with a 4 wheeler if you can and push the grass down with the wheel under the fence. I run almost all one wire and sart calving the 1st of April and by the 4th of July have very few calves if any that do not stay in 1 hot wire.
Additional thought: fiberglass vs. steel posts is personal preference yes steel can short out if the wire is out of the insulator, that is what I prefer, I just test the fence with a fault finder fault finder electric fence tester and if I get a good voltage reading with a low amp reading I can be quite certain that the fence is up, with fiberglass posts not so much wire could be out of 3-4 posts and 2 inches off the ground and I have no way to know with out running the whole fence. Your biggest problem probably will be grass shorting it out.
