Do you mean Fall Panicum, the grass? Mow it like you would any hay crop (disc mower/conditioner), let it dry good and bale it like anything else. Maybe check the hurricane forecast before you get too excited. Hay is abundant and cheap here to buy, not that way in your part of the world?
Or wrap at any moisture under 60-65%. Adjust RB size smaller as moisture goes up (weight considerations). Get at least 7 mils of plastic on 'em. |
