| Chopped earlage on Saturday-Monday. How long do you wait before baling earlage stalks for bedding? Top half of plant was green, but we’re having nice warm sunny days. Also once baled do you allow the cornstalk bales to sit and cure for a certain amount of time in the field before stacking in a tight pyramid? I’ve had bales I thought were bone dry get mildew before and I wonder if it’s because I’ve stacked them too tight too soon.
