| I noticed a correlation bedding my spring calves after weaning, bedding them in an outside corral with corn stalks and snotty noses when it rains or snows. Last year I sold the calves early so just put the few heifers I kept outside in the same corral with no bedding for a good portion of the winter, only 2 got snotty noses for 2 days all winter vs everytime precip came in the prior3-4 years. | |
