south dakota | Hoop barn hogs? Concrete or no concrete? Before k put concrete in my barns I liked to use beanstraw down first as it did not break down as quick as cornstalks and was easier to clean the barn without digging into the dirt. I’m a pig guy but I have heard of people feeding bean straw free choice to Holsteins on full corn and get along good. Definitely would not work the ground this fall if you talk off the bean straw. | |
