Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS | Thanks for reminding me of the name of the place. It was a back haul for me. Pick up cheese to go to the pizza factory in Northeast, PA, which got me back home for the weekend. I might have seen you there sometime. A couple of times I saw a milk truck being unloaded but don't remember the company name or where it was from. I would have been there during the 1990s driving a "teal green" International 9400 pulling a shiny Great Dane reefer for Birkmire Trucking out of Erie, PA (BTCo). The reason I say the truck was "teal green" is because that was the official word of the NYS trooper with whom I was having an interesting conversation on the side of the NYS Thruway. As he was getting ready to write my ticket he stepped up on the fuel tank and asked, "What color do you call this?" I said, "I always just called it green." He said, "Looks like teal to me." I said, "That must be what it is." So from then on, anytime I was asked the color of the truck it was "teal green." |
