I know they are hard to get in and out of but it really was the first in class as far as a factory cab go and expense had to be considered. They did a good job. It was a start and ultimately a dead end. The IH control center is twice the cab and the genesis of all modern tractor cabs period. It may not of had everything that is taken for granted today but like all great innovations it had 95% of the configuration. I don't care what bad things Deere said about it until they and everyone else copied it.
