I hate to say this but some of this is your own fault for not telling them what you had already done to diagnose the problem. Can't blame a tech for putting on a part that they thought was broken and running into problems doing so as that's how it goes. Not that I'm sticking up for the dealer or tech but as you know some of this stuff is just a pain to work on and stuff happens as your fixing that is unavoidable.


No offense to most customers, but I usually disregard what I got told they tried unless I know they actually did it correctly. If we don't start over from the beginning, we may miss something.

However, in this case...the tech was throwing parts at it instead of diagnosing the real problem, and then broke some stuff in the process of swapnostics...Tough situation, but if my techs broke something we didn't need to have off, I would be paying for those parts.
