NW IA | The door post is a headache to me when I'm planting because I use the markers and it is nasty looking out the front. Otherwise not a big deal, and I actually like the right front window curve when dragging my 336 small square baler around.
I've always thought my 1086 had a nice roomy cab with tin foil doors and the 4230 had a solid door on a dinky cab. My dad enjoyed the 4230, but did get his feet tangled up and fell getting in once when he was past 80.
When the next series came out we talked to Deere company rep at the Clay County Fair. He said the most frequent comment in focus groups of farmers in the design phase was, "Get that door post out of my face." I think the tight space in the corners was more of a negative than the post itself. | |
