Paxton, IL | I like to use combination patch plugs for all tire repairs. Have to dismount, inpspect/prep, then instal plug that has a patch attached from the inside out.
Not sure if there's any reason you shouldn't do that on a semi tire, but seems to me to be the most reliable tire repair method I've come across.
I don't trust regular tire plugs on anything critical. They may work 90% of the time, but the other 10% always seems to cause me more headaches than it's worth. | |
