What do y'all think about the sound guard cab? Does the post in the middle drive anyone else crazy? What do you guys have to say about it?
If your coming from an open station to a sound guard that has been treated decent with working air, radio, and is clean you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. I made the switch from and open station 1850 Oliver to my 4430 and it made farming fun again.
The window and door frame never bothered me except for a very few times driving into the sun or something trying to look through to the left. If you compare it to what else was available at the time it came out nothing holds a candle to it.
MF11x5 series - Loud and hard to climb into
IH66 - Loud and awkward to get wrapped around into the seat, clutch in the way etc.
IH86 - Loud and you have waller all over the tires to get in
White 2 -1x5 - Probably the next nicest cab of any of them, but has its issues.
I'm short legged and very round with the step kit on my 4430 I have no problems getting in.
