| thanks for replys . things adjusted before starting this year. reel pitch set staight up and down with cutter bar . i have tried reel up and allway down reel in and out . and half way. cross auger adjusted down . to within 1/2 in of flat bar that holds stainless sheets in. by the book. ground flighting with flap disk. its good and square. set fingers to 5/8 in protusion by the book. had grain grabbers on when i bought it . new rasp bars. wish i dune the trimple ones. front drum set by book for beans. clyinder speed 380 concave set to 5. belive thats part of woofing sound gonna change to 3 1/2 when next beans get ready. i hope i replyed to all yalls suggestions. 2 deffrent neibors have 25 foot heads. but mine seems to be a dog. any thing appreciated. may get another small sprocket for auger drive thats 2 teeth larger than factory cut hub out and weld larger hub on to speed up cross auger little bit . not trying to set speed record but somethings not right just trying to improve beans running 11 percent thanks crowspond | |
