Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Several items have to be sensed properly before the start circuit will energize. Items such as someone sitting in the seat, unloading auger folded in, separator disengaged and others must be set in the "safe" position. There is a list on the back side of the command arm door on many models. I've had to consult that list a few times.
Possibly one of the items is not correct or the sensor for an item needs adjusting or replacement.
Use Johnny Pops suggestion. This will require a helper. When the operator turns the key to the start position, the small wire should go to 12V. If it does the problem is the starter. If the small wire does not go to 12V with the key then the problem may be with one of the safety sensors I mention.
Carefully jumping that small wire with 12V from the battery should cause the starter to engage. Do this with caution with someone in the drivers seat to prevent any surprises.
