WC Franklin Co., In. | I always said I'd never have a SGB tractor, but after finding a deal on a 50 series that I couldn't pass up, I now own one. Yes, getting through the door is a little tight, but once you are in there, I don't mind them at all. They aren't roomy like newer cabs, but I don't feel cramped in there at all. Adequate, but not spacious. Adding the aftermarket steps helps a bunch with entry and exit. Lots of people gripe about the center post, but Deere did good and put the post/exhaust/air intake all in a line, so all that doesn't block your view any worse than most tractors built during that time frame as you were still looking past a muffler and intake on them, too. Go sit in one and see what you think. If it doesn't bother you, they are great tractors. If you can't stand any of their nuances, look for something else because you will always hate it. | |
