Looked up a couple pics to refresh my memory looks like the 1000rpm seal can just be picked out and changed. The 540rpm one has to be done from the inside which means taking the whole unit off and disassembling it to change, decompressing the brake, might be able to leave clutch together but might want to do it while you are in there.
