| If it has a ripper on the back it will be quick work.
If it doesn't it will just take a bit.
As others have said, watch out for falling branches or a large limb that snaps when the tree recoils.
I prefer a hoe to take down and a cat to move afterwards.
They are easier to take out the whole tree, rather than cut the tree off, and then dig the stump.
I think it is safer to dig them out rather than cut them off any way.
I have had big trees just sit after I had them cut clear off. I had even notched them as much as I could. | |
