I know of one guy killed here doing big trees, and another that ended up getting a whole new cab on a hoe after he shook a top down. No place for stupid or folks that operate a little quick. 6C is pretty small really by todays standards


Cottonwoods are dangerous. I will not push on any bigger than 24" without ripping as deep as I can on 3 sides, and then very gently get them moving the direction you want them to go. A guy will usually only get in trouble if you push too fast, or stop and let them rebound. Once they start moving, you need to keep them going until they go over. In my opinion, a 6C is a little light for 3' trees.
